# Accept a team invite

> Joins the team with the invite's role. The signed-in account's email must match the invited address (403 otherwise).
Unknown or revoked token → 404; already used → 409; expired → 410. If the caller is already a member the invite is
stamped used and 200 is returned with `alreadyMember: true`. Writes a TEAM_INVITE_ACCEPTED audit entry and sends a
`team.member_joined` webhook to the team owner.
