# Get currency conversion rates

> Foreign units per £1, for quoting GBP catalogue prices in EUR and USD. Rates come from XE or the ECB (cached 24 hours upstream) and this response is cached for 60 seconds (`Cache-Control: public, max-age=60`). If a source fails, the missing legs fall back to a fixed table and `stale` is true. Never errors.
